Cycling Map of the French Alps

Taking advantage of the Covid19 Lockdown here in France and the fact we are not allowed to ride outside at all at the moment despite some glorious weather, I have finally put the finishing touches to our Climbs of the French Alps Cycling Tube Map posters and stocked a few for mail order dispatch only. Due to the complexity and details of the map they are only available in the larger 70cmx50cm size. They do however fit in an IKEA frame.
These are now available to buy on-line only until we are allowed to open up shop again sometime in the future.
I have also created a new stand alone website for our tube maps to which I will be adding a lot more information to over the coming months.
Covid19 and our summer season…
Like all small business (it’s just me!) and especially those in the tourist industry we have seen a collapse of our summer booking both new and existing.
We really do have too many hire bikes in stock for this summer now especially in sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.
So, if you are interested in buying any of our standard rim brake carbon Shimano Ultegra complete bikes, or if you have a bunch of bits in your garage and you just need a frame and fork please get in touch with us via email.

3 JanA new year brings a new Cycling Tube Map and we are pleased to announce the release of our Mont Ventoux Region Cycling Tube Map (Catalogue Number CTM7)

If you are doing the event and want to rent a bike rather than travel with your own bike you can rent from us and pick up and drop off the bike directly at the Liege cycle sportive event headquarters and start / finish line. All Liege Bastogne Liege Challenge Bike Rental must be pre booked before the 19th April 2020.

Bikes are second hand and have cosmetic marks but have been fully maintained by us. Bikes do not come with pedals or bottle cages. Please allow 14 days for us to ship the bike and up to 28 days for you to receive it. All rear cassettes are 11-34 tooth with a compact chainset up front. Photos are non contractual and the colour of the frame may be different.

Finish your summer in style – 05 October 2019 to 12 October 2019
Overview
This is the first running of More Than 21 Bends Alpe d′Huez to Lake Como cycling tour and we are looking for keen cyclist to try the route with us using our preloaded GPX files. The self guided tour is a mixture of back to base and point to point riding. On the point to point part of the tour your luggage and belongings are transfered fr you each day.
The finish of this tour coincides with the Il Lombardio Gran Fondo sportive and pro-race, which you may wish to stay on longer to take part in or watch.
The tour itinerary is as follows
- Saturday – Arrive in Bourg d’Oisans for the first night.
- Sunday – Ride Alpe d′Huez and the Col de Sarenne and return to Bourg d′Oisans (70KM, 1500m of climbing).
- Monday – Bourg d′Oisans to Briançon over the Col du Lautaret with optional detour of the Col du Galibier (80KM 2000m of climbing). Luggage transfer to Briançon.
- Tuesday – Briançon to Pinerolo (Italy) over the Col du Montgenevre and the Colle Sestriere. Luggage transfers to Pinerolo (90km 2000m of climbing).
- Wednesday – Pinerolo to Santhia just north of Turin. (150km mostly flat). Luggage transfers to Santia.
- Thursday – Santhia to Cantù near Lake Como. (150km mostly flat). Luggage transfer to Cantù.
- Friday – Cantù to Cantù on Lake Como. Follow the route of the classic Il Lombardia Cycle Race and tackle the Muro di Sormano and the Ghisallo. (109KM with 2000m of climbing).
- Saturday – Depart Cantù or make your own arrangements to stay for the Il Lombardia race. We are happy to find you extra accommodation if required.

- Extra nights stay if required in Cantù or Bourg d′Oisans.
- For those who want to return to Bourg d′Oisans we will also be travelling back on Monday 14th October.
